An elite and technologically advanced fintech is now urgently seeking a rounded security engineer for its networks team. Our client harnesses the use of technology to help shape its financial strategy. It operates globally and with a large infrastructure/networking footprint.

They seek an experienced Security Engineer to work on varied firewall technology alongside its LAN/WAN environment. To apply, you will be degree educated in a computer related field, and have 2-3 years minimum experience in the configuration, implementation, troubleshooting/support and maintenance of network security infrastructure. Project work is also part of the opportunity.

Ideally, you will have skills in

• Network security auditing, compliance, modelling and risk scoring platforms
• Load balancers - Amazon, NetScaler and F5
• Network and Intrusion detection and prevention, such as Darktrace
• Firewalls, ideally Cisco, Check Point or Palo Alto
• Cloud technology
• Software-Defined Networking (SDN), coding/scripting
• LAN/WAN - Cisco CCNA/CCNP level qualifications to include decent understanding of OSPF, BGP networking fundamentals
