My client is a medium sized, multi-award winning Technology lead Quant fund with a start-up feel based in London, Liverpool Street. We are looking for a Python engineer who is keen to undertake multiple projects with the first one being to help create, build out and maintain a new greenfield platform for quantitative strategies.

The role will also involve building/managing new features in not just the Front Office but also in the Risk space. (A full and detailed job spec is available)

Skills/Experience

• Between 1 – 8 years’ commercial experience within Python
• Strong understanding of OO principles, design patterns, data structures & algorithms
• Computer Science Degree ideally from a top University
• Personality and genuine passion in technology!
• Recently worked in a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or a Financial Tech house
