My client, an esteemed investment management firm, is in search of a vital addition to their infrastructure support team, tasked with overseeing their high-performance Linux-based trading and research platforms.

As a production engineer, your duties will include building, administering, upgrading, and supporting the Linux estate. Additionally, the ideal candidate will actively participate in monitoring and automation efforts, collaborate with engineering teams to refine documentation and processes, and be ready to handle occasional out-of-hours tasks, often performed remotely.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Linux-based platforms is essential.
• Understanding of RedHat and CentOS is required.
• Experienced in end-to-end server deployments.
• Familiarity with AMD/Intel server hardware and physical components
• Essential skills include the ability to conduct full root-cause analysis and effectively troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of Python and bash scripting, along with exposure to automation technologies such as Ansible, are also valued.
