The role:

• My client are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure & Infrastructure Specialist to join their team.
• The position is a mixture of hands on and hands off Data Center based work, with the role revolving around Data Center infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

• Sourcing, preparing and installing equipment into Data Centers
• Documentation
• Organising and coordinating with smart hands at remote sites
• Installing and maintaining Servers and Networks within Data Centers
• Troubleshooting Hardware at a 1st / 2nd Line level
• Working with vendors and service providers for implementation of new services
• Manage warranties with OEM's
• Providing support for 3rd parties

Core skills required:

• Experience working in Data Center environments, both as a DC Engineer and as a PM / vendor liaison expert
• Broad Systems and Network based experience - Linux, Windows, Virtualization, Networking
• Experience troubleshooting Hardware
• Ability to travel to the US and parts of Europe where required (circa 10% travel time)

Client: Elite FinTech Firm

Salary: $80,000-$150,000 CAD
