My client is a top ranked trading firm, looking for a Network engineer with cloud experience. You will work on maintaining the firm’s current hybrid cloud, network, Internet and server connectivity infrastructure, and the Palo Alto firewall estate for a complex/demanding business environment.
Role
- Design and implementation of network solutions
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including, routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, certificate services, AD, DNS, GPOs and DHCP
- Maintain and monitor a compl4x hybrid cloud and network infrastructure
- Daily system monitoring
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching, to maximise network efficiency and security
- Automate/streamline processes
- Azure cloud computing concepts and design
Requirements
- Knowledge of Terraform or Powershell, SCCM, Azure AD/Entra ID
- Strong understanding of Network protocols
- Knowledge of Cisco tools/products
- Network Automation
