We are seeking a talented Linux Systems Engineer to join an elite trading organization based in London. This role requires expertise in Red Hat Linux, automation with Ansible, and experience in Windows/Linux integration. You will play a key part in supporting critical trading operations within a fast-paced and cutting-edge environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Linux infrastructure, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Automate system configurations and deployments using Ansible to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure seamless Windows/Linux integration, supporting the hybrid infrastructure of the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance and stability.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to optimize and secure trading systems.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative Linux-based solutions to support trading platforms.
Key Skills & Experience
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong Linux administration skills, particularly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Expertise in automation using Ansible (playbooks, roles, etc.).
- Experience in Windows/Linux integration in a high-performance environment.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation and system management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system optimization.
