We are seeking a talented Security Engineer for a contract position with a rapidly growing financial institution in London. In this role, you will lead the upgrade of the Ivanti platform, ensuring security and compliance throughout the process. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for flexibility while promoting collaboration with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the Ivanti platform upgrade, ensuring secure implementation with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Configure security settings within the Ivanti suite to protect against vulnerabilities and risks.
- Collaborate with IT, risk, and compliance teams to align security measures with organizational objectives.
- Conduct security assessments and audits post-upgrade to verify system integrity and compliance.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for Ivanti-related security issues.
- Continuously assess the security environment and identify areas for improvement.
- Document the upgrade process, configurations, and security policies clearly and thoroughly.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience with Ivanti products, particularly Ivanti Endpoint Manager and Ivanti Security Controls.
- Strong background in security engineering, including firewalls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Expertise in endpoint security, patch management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services sector and best practices in IT security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security challenges.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH) are highly desirable.
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a significant advantage.
