We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join a prestigious investment bank on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months. This role is inside IR35 and offers up to £350 per day. You will be working in a high-paced, financial services environment, providing technical support within a Windows-based infrastructure with Dynatrace monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to users in a financial services environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a Windows infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Support and optimize Dynatrace monitoring tools for system performance.
- Work closely with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-pressure banking environment.
- Maintain and update documentation for IT systems and processes.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer within a financial services or banking environment.
- Strong expertise in Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix).
- Experience with SCCM for software deployment and patching.
- Ability to troubleshoot networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Rate: Up to £350 per day
