Looking for an experienced qualified accountant. In your role, you will be joining an existing team of UX designers and developers to launch their latest product - automating tax calculations for micro entities and sole traders.
The following skills / experience is essential
- A Senior Accountant in practice who has vast experience in advising and filing GST (VAT) and corporation tax for SMEs and individuals.
- An accounting and tax expert who is confident in the preparation and filing process of corporation and income tax (focus on small businesses is a plus).
- You can communicate tax and accounting effectively and simple language to a team that has little or no knowledge of bookkeeping and taxes.
- You are ambitious and creative when it comes to problem solving and have a deep affinity for technological processes - assisting the team in translating accounting and tax rules into clever code that automates processes for their clients.
- A passion for accounting.
- You have experience in dealing with customers directly and help solving more complex tax situations.
- You have an analytical mindset that can break down complex legislation into simple step by step processes.
